About

Hey — I'm Emeka.

Unity game designer and solo developer. I make immersive, story-driven worlds — and I'm still, happily, an endless loop of ideas.

Emeka Igbokwe-Azogu

My whole thing is atmosphere, emotion, and flow — taking a small spark of an idea and turning it into a place you can step into and actually play. A good game should leave you with more than mechanics: a feeling, a thought, something that lingers after the screen goes dark.

"An Endless Loop Of Ideas" — Think, Research, Plan, Build. The same restless spirit behind the name Circles: CirclesGames, and now the wider CirclesLab.

What I do

How I got here

This started small — playing GTA: San Andreas as a kid. I could drive, cause chaos, do almost anything, and it felt like a real-life simulation... except I couldn't sit on a bench on the side of the road. Some crazy game mechanics they had going, huh? That contradiction stuck with me and gave me the drive to make my own.

I first tried GameMaker around age 11, but it was too boring, too top-down, too 2D — and I didn't have much computer access anyway, so it never really took off. Later, through research, I found Unity, and by 15 I was already dreaming of planet-sized worlds — I was mind-blown by science around that time, and it showed in what I wanted to build. Life pulled me toward academics for a while after that. I came fully back to game development at 19, starting with mobile games.

Mobile didn't fit — too limited, too competitive, and I'm driven by more than just making something small work. I moved to PC, and that's where World 001 was born — it started as a concept and, for a while, stayed one; I could see how big a project it was going to be. From there I went into It's Just a Story around the time I moved to Cyprus for my bachelor's — the project that finally taught me how to see something through from start to finish.

I'm currently focused on building and publishing my own Unity tools on the Asset Store, while sharpening my shader and storytelling skills, and building stronger emotional design around player immersion. I was also approached by AdInMo, a 3D in-game advertising company, about integrating in-world ad placements — a sign the tools and games side of this are starting to get noticed beyond just players.

Off the clock

You'll find me on the football pitch, sprinting, or in the kitchen — I've caught the cooking bug lately and love giving new dishes my own twist. I'm also just as happy doing nothing in particular — sitting outside, plainly absorbing nature. At heart I'm a positive, helpful person: charismatic, and stubbornly determined once I set my mind to something.

CirclesGames is becoming just one part of my larger studio idea, CirclesLab — a hub built around the growth of passionate people. CirclesGames is its games section; CirclesTools is its Unity-tools section.
